3D model of prettysmallthings. The models were repaired and checked for printability.
A comfy place to rest your head after a hard day in space. 1:18 scale.
I
...Show more have made some small design adjustments since printing the prototype shown on this page, reducing height by about 8mm and improving stack-ability.
Some things to consider:
The Shell & Trim require 120mm build area. If you're using a 120mm platform, make sure it's perfectly centered and well leveled. I do plan to provide a file split up for a 100mm platform soon.
The Base is optional. Pods are built to stack with and without bases, bunk bed style.
The seat is formatted so that the bottom cushion prints upside down.
Printed with basic Print-o-Matic settings on a ToM. 20% infill, no extra shells.
Assemble as per photo. Or, mix it up. The base and cushion would make a nice futon, in the event your extra stellar environment suffers from space constraints. Or, go low-rent with a cushion-less sleep pod for that sci fi look without all the effort.
