UPDATED VERSION: The new design is similar to the rear lowering links. These are less likely to shear when they are snapped on and off of the ball joints.
These
...Show more are lowering links of various lengths that replace the stock links that came with your air suspension. You'll find a link at each corner of the car. Select a new link length to adjust the ride height of the car at that corner. The links in this project are for the front of the Model S car (all years). See another project for the rear links, which are 20mm longer and a different design.
Best printed in PETG, due to its springiness. Should be printed at 100%fill and ~0.25 mm layer height - thicker layers produced stronger results.
The number in the file name is the distance from ball-center to ball-center
48mm is actually a shorter link than the Tesla stock front link and this will raise the car.
50mm is stock height.
52mm is lower ride height than stock.
54mm is lower yet
56mm is lower than that
58mm is the lowest ride adjust adjustment
The files are 1/10th the size they need to be. Just multiply all dimensions by 10 to make them the correct size.
Those ugly black rectangles in the thumbnails are a remnant from how I designed the part. They don't affect the integrity of the print.
more details are available on the older lowering links page.
