All the pieces go in pretty easily until the last layer, push pieces up past the posts in order to slip in the orange (make sure it is turned the right way it fits both ways) , then the dark brown piece slips right in, requires very light sanding, but still functional without sanding
i originally started designing this on master cam trial so that i could machine one from steel, when i realized i could print one to figure out a good tolerance, luckily i did not have to redraw everything on blender thanks to Shadow burn68, Also there's some issues with the drawing you had put together, i have provided mine that is 100% correct for those of you still looking, if there's any other views you need i will upload
