A simple enclosure and mount for a DHT11 temperature + humidity sensor and a NodeMCU. This project is designed around the [HiLetgo NodeMCU
...Show more board](https://www.amazon.com/HiLetgo-Version-NodeMCU-Internet-Development/dp/B010O1G1ES) available on Amazon but should fit most similar designs.
The NodeMCU is mounted with the face exposed to maximize WIFI signal strength and heat dissipation, and to reduce the effect on the sensor's temperature readings.
Below the NodeMCU is a chamber sized to hold wires with enough clearance for Dupont connectors to connect to the header pins. The base is divided into two chambers for additional thermal isolation, with a vented chamber for the sensor.
Two slots are provided on the lid to fasten the USB power cable with a zip tie, and a flange is included on the base for hanging or screw mounting, though it will work just as well sitting flat on a table or shelf.
