Model Description
Yet Another Stanley Blade Holder (YASBH). :)
This is a minimalistic blade holder for the Stanley 1992 utility blades. It is intended for the normal thickness...Show more blades, which are 0.61 mm / .024 in.

Just put the blade in the base part, as far down as it will go, and then slide the wedge part in, to fix the blade in place.

The blade is not retractable.

It is not intended for heavy-duty use! The casing is plastic and quite thin. Be careful, so you don't cut yourself! I use mine as a box-cutter.

I don't make use of the two slots in the back of the blade. I simply put the blade as far down it can go, and then use the wedge-part to hold the blade in place by friction.
I found it messy to insert blades in this construction if I made use of slot-pins.
I wanted to make the holder as minimalistic as possible, thus I only went with the bare essentials.

To remove blade, I recommend pulling the blade out with a pair of pliers. Just pull straight out. Be careful not to cut yourself!

Added a simple sheath as well. The design of this is a bit "quick and dirty" as I initially didn't intend for a sheath. Will probably come an improved version later on.
The sheath should be printed standing up, and without supports (see pictures).
